Karl Harris, former British Supersport motorcycle champion, died after a crash in Superstock race at the Isle of Man TT.
It is the second deadly crash at Isle of Man this year. Bob Price lost his life in Supersport I race just two days before.
Karl Harris (34) crashed in Joey’s Corner. He was a British Supersport Champion (2001, 2003 and 2004). He also competed in British Superbike, World Supersport and European Superstock.
He made the TT debut in 2012.
“Karl was one of the great characters in the race paddock. His infectious enthusiasm and sense of humour lit up many race meetings. He was a hugely talented racer and will be sorely missed”, says Gary Thompson, TT Clerk of the Course, ACU Events.
