Yamaha revealed its new MotoGP prototype, the YZR-M1 2015.
The launch took place in Madrid where the two Yamaha Riders, Valentino Rossi and Jorge Lorenzo, presented the bike, alongside the president of Telefonica Espana, Luis Miguel Gilperez and the General Manager of Yamaha Motor Co, Motorsport Division, Kouichi Tsuji and other members of the team.
We can’t spot many visual differences between the new M1 and the 2013 MotoGP bike. The new version seems to have a different fuel tank, a large air intake and some frame updates. As for the engineering, there was a winter full of work for the developing team.
„I too am feeling well so there are all conditions for an exciting season. I guess we will see the same four riders fighting for the championship. It’s going to be a good fight”, says Valentino Rossi.
„I think Marquez should be the favourite, and then Valentino. Dani and I are behind until the opposite is proven”, says Jorge Lorenzo.
Yamaha team will travel to Malaysia, for a first test at Sepang on 4th, 5th and 6th February.
