Harley-Davidson to recall Street and Touring models

The latest Harley-Davidson additions, the Street 500 and Street 750 will be recalled for the missing rear reflector assembly. In fact it seems the bikes were built without it. 8904 motorcycles might be affected by this issue. The Affected batch has been manufactured from May 12 2014 until March 9 2015.

The second recall aims at the Touring class. 45,901 units might be affected by the clutch master cylinder that looses the power of generating lift to disengage the clutch. However, motorcycles that were parked for a long period of time might be more affected. Models that need inspection are built from April 28, 2014 until October 24, 2014 and are as follows:

Road Glide (FLTRX)

2014 Model Year
CVO Road King (FLHRSE)

Both recalls are for the moment aimed at the US Market.
