Triumph unveiled two new special edition models: The Barbour and the Venom. The bad news is that the two motorcycles will not be produced mass produced and will not be available for purchase.
With a black and blue color scheme, the Triumph Barbour is a collaboration between the British motorcycle manufacturer and Barbour, a famous clothing brand. The Triumph Barbour is basically a Boneville built with a flat tracker approach. Beside the color scheme modifications were made also to the back end of the frame. Also the seat and pegs are built specially for the Barbour. Front end comes from the Triumph Street Triple R. Rear shocks are custom built by K-Tech.
The second one off model presented by Triumph is the Venom and was unveiled at Comic-Con London with the launch of Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain video game. The Triumph Venom is also based on good old Bonnie. The Venom comes in a military green outfit and resembles a bit with the Steve McQueen’s motorcycle from the ,,Great Escape”. To keep the bike simple, mirrors and speedometer are absent. The motorcycle was built to resemble with the T100 that is ridden by the character Snake in the video game. Statement to this, saddlebags are made to look like Snake’s uniform. On the back of the bike an rugged ammo rack can be found. The Continental TKC80 tires give the Venom an all-rounder feel. Foot-pegs are borrowed from the Tiger!
