Viba Lara 800 is a MV Agusta Brutale 800 transformed into a scrambler. It comes in limited numbers and with a price tag that’ll make you think twice before considering purchasing one.
French company Viba created a srambler style bike from MV Agusta’s Brutale 800. Named Lara 800, the motorcycle has the Italian in-line three cylinder 798 cc engine from MV making 125 HP. The power unit is bolted on a steel trellis frame while the swingarm is made from aluminium. The leather seat is custom made and can be personalized in terms of colour and leather patterns.
The aluminium tank is handmade by Crazy Racers and comes in different colour schemes. The headlight has a protective mask and the exhaust is ceramic-coated and has a Zard silencer. Viba offers a Marzocchi fork and Elka monoshock as standard, but the optional list include Ohlins suspension.
The scrambler has radial calipers from Beringer (yes, not Brembo as everyone expected). Borrani took care of the rims and Viba fitted Avon TrailRider tyres. Viba Lara 800 can be adjusted according to rider, riding style or riding surface. It will be build in just 23 units, one is already sold and another is pre-ordered, so just 21 bikes remain available.
The price tag is €32,310, no taxes included, for a standard model. Adding parts on the Viba Lara 800 will set you back even more. And if you want to buy one of the 21 bikes still available, you have to make a €10,000 deposit. This is a scrambler you don’t want to drop in the mud.
