MV Agusta is set to release RC versions of its popular F3 models, the 675 cc and 800 cc machines.
After the debut of the MV Agusta F4RC superbike earlier this year, the Italian motorcycle manufacturer is looking to reveal two new “Reparto Corse” versions. The MV Agusta F3 675 RC and F3 800 RC will be produced in limited numbers of just 300 units according to UK’s Superbike magazine.
The news comes after MV already announced it’ll reveal three new 1000 cc inline-four models this year. Similar to the F4RC superbike, the MV Agusta F3 675RC and F3 800RC will likely feature upgraded suspension, lightweight components and a boost in performance, all wrapped up in race replica paint scheme. With all the problems surrounding Marzocchi , it seems like a good time for MV Agusta to drop the current suspension supplier in favor of Ohlins.
Probably MV Agusta will reveal the F3 675 RC and F3 800 RC at the EICMA show in Milano this fall, but until then we can watch this video of the MV Agusta F4RC just to make an idea of what to expect from the F3 RC machines.
