MV Agusta 800 Stradale will be unveiled next week at EICMA – Milan. But a leaked photo and the complete tech specs spoiled the story and give us plenty of information about the new MV Agusta motorcycle.
Do you remember MV Agusta Rivale 800? It was introduced last year and was powered by a 800 cc three-cylinder engine capable of 125 hp. The weight was 178 kg and it was a bike suited for wheelies, stoppies and other hoolingan things.
The photo and technical details were published by Asphalt&Rubber.
Well, this year MV Agusta reveals a more …touring-oriented Rivale, pretty the same motorcycle, but with windscreen and side-cases. It will be called Stradale. Among the difference are the engine power, lowered by 10 hp (now it makes 115 hp), the fuel tank capacity – 16 litres (4,23 U.S. gal) instead of 12,5, and the weight. The new Stradale has 181 kg (399 lbs) without fuel. The seat is also lowered, but the suspension travel is the same.
MV Agusta Stradale is also fitted with the usual MV Agusta components: MVCIS system, ride by wire, three riding modes, traction control (8 levels). The upside down Marzoochi fork is fully adjustable, and the top speed is 214 km/h.
