The BMW R1200 RS has entered the production line at the BMW Spandau plant in Berlin. This is a highly anticipated move from BMW, although the bikes will most likely hit the dealerships after a few months.
With the R1200 RS, BMW will fill the gap of their boxer sport touring class. BMW is not a been stranger of the RS name as in the past they already had several models released with the RS designation. The engine will be the same power plant that equips the GS, the RT , and the R versions.
The R1200 RS, in the good tradition of the BMW brand, will come with the ABS anti-lock system, ASC stability control, and two driving modes “Rain” and “Road.” Also the DTC traction control and Dynamic ESA electronic suspension can be found on the bike. All this looks really good and we hope to put our hands on it really soon.
