The Piaggio Group and Emporio Armani have team up to create a special scooter in the shape of the Vespa 946 Emporio Armani special editon.
In 2015, the foundation of Giorgio Armani celebrates its 40th anniversary while the Piaggio Group marks its 130th year of existence. This was a very good reason for Emporio Armani to design a special version of the Vespa 946. The new scooter is called the Vespa 946 Emporio Armani.
In order to be in tune with the Armani brand, the Vespa 946 Emporio Armani has a unique colour design. The scooter features a one-off combination of greys with subtle hints of green. And this is not all. The colour scheme in all its details is visible only under certain light conditions.
As far as technology and styling goes, The Vespa 946 Emporio Armani has cylinder blocks made from aluminium and a four-stroke electronic injection engine. To top it all off, Armani added luxury accessories and brown-leather finishes.
Vespa announced that the metal parts are made using galvanic treatments while in combination with the satin finish create an opaque effect. Another design detail is Giorgio Armani’s brand logo placed over the headlight, while on the side of the scooter we find written “Emporio Armani”.
Vespa didn’t forget about safety. To do so, the Vespa 946 Emporio Armani is equipped with ABS braking system, 220 mm double disc brake and 12 inch wheels.
