The new Yamaha MT-07 ,,Tracer” has been just photographed on a test run near Milan in Italy. The new touring version of the MT-07 might be released this autumn. The MT-07 Tracer will complete the MT series and will sit along side its bigger brother, the MT-09 Tracer.
Even since the original MT-07 was launched, consumers and press asked them selves if Yamaha will release a touring version giving the fact the MT-07 was such a popular and practical and fun machine. The new smaller Tracer follows the same recipe as its bigger brother. A complete new fairing and wind screen can be found in order to make high speed runs a joy. Also, from the pictures, we can see that the seat was changed in order to increase touring comfort.
Also, the Mt-07 Tracer comes with a complete luggage system(although we don’t think it will fit the bike as standard). This means that the sub-frame could be redesigned in order to cope with more weight. If Yamaha will leave the engine mapping alone, the new Tracer could have the same ability of injecting a big dose of fun as the original MT-07. Price is speculated to be around 7500 euros and for this money you could really get a bike that could handle almost anything you throw at it. Street wise that is.
