MV Agusta is set to update its in-line four cylinder machines next year.
Giovanni Castiglioni has confirmed at “Friends of Claudio” yearly gathering that new bikes will come in 2016 from the famous Italian manufacturer. Along the newcomers are a brand new F4 and a new 1,000 cc in-line four Brutale. The third new machine will be a crossover says Giovanni.
Finally, MV fans have a reason to cheer about as the brand’s three-cylinder models managed to be the center of attention in the last years. Most likely, the crossover motorcycle will be a 1,000 cc in-line four version of the MV Agusta Turismo Veloce 800. Thus, MV taking on rivals such as BMW’s S1000XR and Ducati’s Multistrada 1200, bikes described as adventure sport machines which is a growing market in the past few years.
All we can do for now is wait and see if MV Agusta is developing a 1,000 cc version of its Turismo Veloce 800 model. Probably, will set our eyes on the new MV’s at the EICMA show this fall.
