A Husqvarna Café Racer style motorcycle has been spotted testing on the streets.
Husqvarna looks set to get back to road motorcycles and these spy shots are proof. According to Asphalt & Rubber, the new Husky is a 701cc Café Racer style bike most likely to be a 2016 model.
Husqvarna 701 Café Racer is based on the KTM 690 Duke and we expect it to develop over 70 HP from a 690 cc single cylinder engine. KTM fitted a trellis frame, trellis swingarm and underslung exhaust. The motorcycle looks pretty much the same as the 401 Vitpilen and Svartpilen concepts showcased at EICMA last year.
Probably the suspension is the same WP setup KTM has accustomed us so far. Since the Austrian motorcycle giant took over Husqvarna, the new models are orange machines in disguise and by the looks of it, this new concept is no exception. At this point we have to wait until November to see the bike probably in concept form at the EICMA show.
