Rupert Stadler, the CEO, stated that Ducati will stay with Volkswagen Audi Group. He also spoke about future of electrical projects.
Ducati will remain one of the strategic assets of the Audi Volkswagen Group. This was announced today at ANSA, on the sidelines of the presentation of the new Audi Q8 by Rupert Stadler, the CEO of the Audi Group. Urged on the rumors that the sale of the famous motorcycle factory of Borgo Panigale was imminent, Stadler said “There are no rumors, Ducati remains and continues in its development plan”.
The CEO of the Audi Volkswagen Group also specified that “Ducati is committed to technological evolution, including electrical” but added that the priority is now “to grow in world markets, adding new ones”. In particular, Stadler reiterated “the excellent performance of Ducati in China” where the market is growing and the two wheels “are certainly not suitable for big megalopolis, but they are perfect for the weekend of pleasure”.
